How to unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Back in December 2023, Disney Dreamlight Valley received the much-awaited 'A Rift in Time/Pumpkin King Returns' update. This introduced Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town in the game. Even if you didn't purchase the expansion pack, you can still unlock Jack Skellington without spending money.

If you have already unlocked the Forgotten Lands biome, you must complete the 'Something Comes A'Knocking' quest. Doing so will unlock Jack Skellington, the legendary character from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.'

The first step is to find the four hidden matryoshka dolls scattered around Dreamland Valley. The locations are different for everyone except the first doll which can be found at Plaza. The first doll can be found on the ground somewhere outside the Plaza surrounded by sparkles, making it difficult not to notice it. However, the location of the dolls can be anywhere in any of the biomes.

Even though the location of the other three dolls is different for every player, they are generally located near landmarks such as WALL-E's Garden, Moana's Boat, the bridges in the Sunlit Plateau, Olaf's cave in 'The Great Blizzard,' and the huge tree where Mother Gothel resides.

In some cases, these Matryoshka Dolls can also appear near the stairs and pathways where one biome connects to another.

The rest of the dolls can be found anywhere in the following locations:

• Peaceful Meadow
• Dazzle Beach
• Forest of Valor
• Glade of Trust
• Frosted Heights
• Sunlit Plateau

Note: If you can't find any of the dolls, check your quest log and ensure that you have already completed 'Miracles Take Time' quest as well.

Once you have collected all four dolls, go to Merlin. He will ask you to visit the Forgotten Lands. Thoroughly notice all the trees and find a tree that has a pumpkin carved on it. Once you have successfully spotted the tree, place the dolls inside. As you start putting the dolls inside, the pumpkin will start turning orange.

Once you have placed all the dolls, Jack Skellington will come to the valley. Pay Scrooge McDuck 5000 coins to get a house constructed for Jack Skellington. You can do so in any part of the valley as you desire.

Start a conversation with The Pumpkin King to complete Something Comes A'Knocking and officially welcome Jack to Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can start 'The Pumpkin King Returns' quest after this.
