How to unlock Mt. Firmament in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves 1.1 "Thaw of Eons" expands the existing Huanglong map with a new exciting region called Mt. Firmament, a snowy region southeast of Whining Aix's Mire. Unfortunately, players cannot explore the new area right after the new update. Mt. Firmament is a crucial part of the storyline and you must complete the certain quests in Chapter 1 Act 7: Thaw of Eons to unlock this new snowy biome.

The 1.1 main quest has eight mini-quests, but players only need to complete the first three to unlock the new area. This guide will show players how to unlock the Mt. Firmament in Wuthering Waves.

The new 1.1 update introduces Chapter 1 Act 7: Thaws of Eons, which continues the main storyline in Wuthering Waves. Act 7 is divided into eight quests for players to experience and enjoy. To unlock Mt. Firmament, complete the following quests:

• A New Companion
• Dreamy Scents
• To Mt. Firmament

You only need to complete the first three quests from Chapter 1 Act 7: Thaws of Eons.

In the "To Mt. Firmament" quest, follow the in-game navigation and travel to the yellow marker southeast from Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire. Here, Rover will meet a "Wayfinder" who guides you to Mt. Firmament with the help of a ferry. After a brief cutscene, you land in the new snowy region.

However, you have only unlocked half of the new area and must complete the entire "To Mt. Firmament" quest to unlock the rest.

Wuthering Waves 1.1 new region, Mt. Firmament, is a secluded island in the southeastern ocean of Jinzhou territory. The snowy region is cloaked with mist and in-game lore suggests it's the first location where the Sentinel "Jue" descended to protect the people of Jinzhou. Here's a quick overview of all the regions you can explore:

• Luminous Shore
• Xuanji Ridges
• Loong’s Rest
• Loong’s Crest
• Loong’s Ridge
• Tianqu Tree
• Hongzhen

Speaking of exploration, the new snowy region features many new Echoes, puzzles, and more. Players can complete these gameplay objectives to increase the map exploration progress, build resonators, and collect exciting in-game rewards. The 1.1 update has added new exploration features that will help traverse this new region.
