How to unlock Pyroclastic Mastery Skin in XDefiant (Season 2)

The Pyroclastic Mastery Skin in XDefiant was added in-game with the Season 2 update. It is arguably one of the most difficult skins to obtain in the title. Being the final Mastery Skin in Season 2, the requirements to earn it are nothing short of a true challenge, even for veteran players. What makes it even more challenging is that players must earn it for each individual weapon.

It goes without saying that the skin looks astonishing with molten silver flowing through it and cracks of blue pulsating, giving it a unique and premium look.

How to get the Pyroclastic Mastery Skin in XDefiant

Unlike the Mastery Skins from previous seasons, the Pyroclastic Mastery Skin in XDefiant has multiple requirements to earn it.

Here is how you can get this skin in the game:

• Get your weapon of choice to Level 500.
• Get 4 Assault Rifles to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 4 SMGs to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 3 Shotguns to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 3 LMGs to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 2 Marksman Rifles to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 2 Sniper Rifles to Level 400 (Only the first time)
• Get 5 Secondary Weapons to Level 400 (Only the first time)

Once you have fulfilled all of the above requirements, you'll unlock the Pyroclastic Mastery Skin for your weapon of choice. As mentioned earlier, it is unlocked on an individual basis. Hence, if you unlocked it already for a gun, it won't automatically be unlocked for other weapons in XDefiant.

You must manually go through all the guns that you wish to unlock this skin for. However, after unlocking the skin for one weapon, you only need to level up the next weapon to Level 500, as you would already have completed the other requirements by this point.

Note that you have until the end of Season 4 to unlock the skin, so you have ample time on your hands. But if you want to unlock it at the earliest, it is recommended to take advantage of the Double XP Weekends.
