Gaining access to the tractor will require the Vehicular Transport upgrade, as the vehicle is a tier three item. The upgrade will cost:
- x200 Cable
- x25 Modular Frame
- x400 Iron Plate
- x100 Rotor
Once the upgrade has been unlocked, equip the build gun to construct the tractor which will cost:
- x10 Reinforced Iron Plate
- x5 Modular Frame
- x5 Rotor
Once the tractor has been constructed using the above-mentioned materials, you can use it to drive the open world or set it on autopilot. Crafting this tractor will be crucial in the game's early stages as this vehicle's top speed of 55 km/h will get you to your destination in no time. Also, the portable crafting station will eliminate the need to find a nearby workbench for constructing new blueprints in Satisfactory.
Automate tractor deliveries to save time in Satisfactory
Satisfactory features tons of resources to collect which can often be at a long distance from each other. Transporting the resources from one place to another can be time-consuming, which is where the tractor's automated feature steps in to help. The tractor can be utilized to transport resources from one location to another if the starting point and destination have a truck station.
Players can even set up more tractors to deliver resources on the same route. Constructing a truck station will cost players x50 Cable, x15 Modular Frame, and x20 Rotor. Once players have set up a truck station at two locations, they can interact with them to set one as a sender of goods and the other as a receiver. Your tractor will often run out of fuel, which can stop the delivery midway.

To avoid this, attach a fuel resource to one of the truck stations to refill the vehicle so that the deliveries don't stop. Once you have assigned the truck stations, drive from one to the other and make sure to record the path. This is the only time you'll have to drive.
Once the path is recorded, you can enable autopilot, which will result in the tractor starting its delivery of goods on its own using the path you recorded for it.
