Not only does the Warden add a completely new way to experience the moment-to-moment gameplay of Remnant 2, but it also offers what is easily the most newcomer-friendly Archetype in the entire game, perhaps even more so than the Handler.

However, to obtain the Warden, you will need to do a fair bit of exploration across N'Erud. Thankfully, it's not that easy to miss out on the Warden, if you explore the new map thoroughly, before heading into the action-packed boss fights. And unlike the Ritualist and the Invoker, obtaining the Warden is a much easier process.

Where to find the Warden Archetype in Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon?

The Warden Archetype is acquired using the Command Module key item. However, to obtain the Command Module, you will need to first make your way to the inner circle of the Waylaid Conservatory. The best way to get the Warden is to start the DLC from scratch, via the One-shot Adventure option, while selecting a new Adventure and difficulty.

One-shot Adventure makes sure that your first run through The Dark Horizon includes enemies and items exclusive to the DLC, without the base game components getting mixed up. This makes it easier to locate items like Archetypes and DLC-exclusive rings.

Once you start The Dark Horizon DLC, you will eventually reach the Waylaid Conservatory fast travel node. This is where you start your journey to obtain the Warden Archetype. Here are the steps to easily reach the area with the Command Module key item in Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon:

• From the node, head north towards the glider station, and use the glider to reach the cliff past the Custodian.
• Keep gliding to the right while hugging the right-hand side wall, and you will eventually reach a hidden area with two wind pillars.
• After reaching the top of the second wind pillar, you will find a doorway that you can land in front of.
• From the doorway, take a sharp left turn and cross the long bridge in front.
• Continue down the path, following the long bridge, and you will reach the Command Module.

Once you obtain the Command Module, simply take it to Wallace in Ward 13 to receive the Warden Archetype. To equip it, head to the Archetype tab, and under your primary slot, select the Warden. You can also put Warden as your secondary Archetype, as long as you've unlocked the secondary Archetype slot.
