To use the CS2 hide HUD command, you first need to enable cheats. Do note that you can only use it in private matches or unofficial game servers that don't host official casual or ranked matches. Here's how to enable cheats in CS2:
- Load into a private match or server that allows cheats.
- Go to the settings and click on the "Game" tab. Switch "Enable Developer Console" to Yes.
- Open the in-game console by pressing ~ which is just above the Esc button.
- Enter the command "sv_cheats true" to enable cheats. This setting needs to be enabled every time you enter a new server.
Enabling the console would help you with a lot of things including improving the CPU and GPU performance in CS2. However, if you want to revert all changes, just replace "true" with "false" and hit enter.
