"I feel so bad for him": CS2 fans react to NiKo going from near-perfect clutch to smashing table

CS2 star NiKo just went on a rollercoaster of emotions along with his fans as he went 1v5 against Team Vitality and almost emerged victorious. The G2 Esports star succeeded in killing four Vitality players but failed to turn it into a clutch. However, what followed was a rage moment from NiKo. CS2 fans have now come forward to share their opinions on this moment.

It all started when Niko found himself in a 1v5 clutch situation during the 16th round of the third map against Team Vitality. However, the Bosnian swiftly eliminated four Vitality players. This left him to square off with apEX alone.

Looking at the opportunity, NiKo planted the bomb and held a corner to ambush apEX. However, the Vitality IGL got the best of him in the 1v1, leading to NiKo's viral desk-slam moment. The G2 pro slammed the desk so hard that it broke and he started bleeding.

Many fans have sided with the CS2 pro, sympathizing with his lack of a clutch moment. An X user by the name of @YorchBurgos said

"I feel so bad for him, G2 can't win if he doesn't show up"

Another fan by the name of @canter outright said they would have slammed the table too if they found themselves in the same position as NiKo.

Some fans have also come forward with their opinion that despite Vitality winning that round, NiKo was the true winner that night. An X user by the name of @dellzorr claimed him to be the best rifler out there right now, stating:

"my goat rifler"

Even the CS2 pros were in awe of this moment. NiKo's fellow teammate, m0NESY, shared an image of the former's mouse with his blood on it, stating he had signed it.

Furthermore, Twistzz, a pro player for Team Liquid, had a light-hearted reaction to this moment. He posed a question to the masses, asking:

"Should be illegal to blood sacrifice mid game no?"

Another pro, s1mple (who just came out of a year-long hiatus), took to Telegram to applaud NiKo's 1v5 attempt. He said:

"NiKo it was beautiful"

The timing of this moment could not have been better for G2. While NiKo failed to win the 1v5, this heroic gameplay of his changed the tide of the game.

This incident occurred during the 16th round of the final map between G2 and Vitality. At this point, G2 had secured Anubis and Vitality had secured Dust 2. But in the last map, Mirage, Vitality was in the lead with a score of 7-8. With NiKo losing out at the near-clutch moment, the score went 7-9 in favor of Vitality.

However, it looks like the 1v5 attempt and the rage moment of NiKo sparked a fire inside the G2 roster. They brought out their A-game and finally won Mirage with a score of 16-14 in favor of G2. While NiKo failed to win the round, his table smash has been booked in the CS2 history books.
