Being able to AWP like a beast is probably one of the greatest flexes in CS2. Great icons like kennyS and s1mple can dominate entire lobbies with the help of this sniper rifle, which also happens to be the most well-recognized one in the gaming community. No wonder Reddit user limpknome wanted to preserve his AWP clip for generations to come.

The player hit the most unfathomable no-scopes and shared the video on the forum, saying:

The Reddit CS2 community was instantly abuzz after witnessing the clip. A fellow player, u/Reagerz, mentioned that they also recently achieved a similar feat and applauded OP's skills at the same time saying:

"Sick man. I love seeing it. I did this a few months back but got cocky and lost the last fight. I too sit in deathmatch and try to get 30 no-scopes before I start premier haha."

OP's clip was so good, that it even had other players convinced that they should show it to the generations to come. Redditor u/TripleDss_ admitted that they would probably show the clip to their grandchildren as well.

Finally, one CS2 player pointed out how the final surviving opponent almost had the chance to win. Redditor u/itrashford noted that OP almost threw the game trying to get that last no-scope kill.

The AWP is an iconic weapon for multiple reasons. It was one of the most effective and powerful snipers in any FPS game when it first came out. Initially, there were issues with many CS2 fans complaining that the gun was too mobile for a bolt-action sniper.

Valve went to make some changes to the weapon hoping to balance it but veteran players still found a way to make the AWP work. It can kill anyone with one shot to the body or head or two to the legs. Furthermore, elite pros like kennyS, s1mple, m0NESY, and others made it even more popular with their insane plays.

On larger maps, it can be almost impossible to counter if the opponent has a good grip on the weapon. Furthermore, since CS:GO essentially gave wings to the FPS competitive scene, it's only believable for the game's best gun to have such great fame. Counter-Strike 2 continues the reign of the AWP.
