Tips for using Ice Golem in Clash Royale
Here are some tips for using Ice Golem:
- In Clash Royale, troops can physically push or block each other. Ice Golem can also be pushed by units like Hog Rider and Ram Rider. Deploy an Ice Golem and a Hog Rider behind it. The Hog Rider will rush towards the crown tower and take the Ice Golem with himself. This tactic offers protection from swarms like skeletons and bats, along with crown tower's attacks.
- The death damage from the Ice Golem can take out small troops like skeletons and bats. This makes it a perfect counter for Skeleton Army. Additionally, Ice Golem's Death Damage, combined with Zap, can perish goblins and minions.
- Ice Golem ignores everything but buildings. This allows him to reroute enemy units by using a tactic called kiting. Essentially, the Ice Golem is positioned in such a way that the enemy units follow it to the opposite lane. In some cases, the enemy troops follow the Ice Golem back to their crown tower. This allows crown towers to land some extra hits.
- The freezing effect caused by the death of Ice Golem does not stack with similar effects of Ice Wizard and Snowball.
