ILG Season 2

With better quality infrastructure available, it is interesting to note how much potential the eSports market has. Although eSports is at a very nascent stage, Indian Lan Gaming (ILG) is doing it's very best to light up the Local Area Network (LAN) gaming culture in India.

Thanks to them, the eSports scene in India is finally taking a turn for the better after a standstill, and the ILG Season 2 seems just the right prospect to invest time in. The 2002-2012 time period witnessed a boom in the gaming industry but since then there has been a slump. ILG is trying to revive the atmosphere and infuse the enthusiasm back into gaming enthusiasts so that they ditch the bean bags and come out and play in these extremely interesting tournaments.

The second season of the Indian LAN Gaming - ILG Cup promises to be bigger and better. The events are already underway. We look at some of the facts:

The primary three games to be contested are DOTA 2, CS:GO, and FIFA 18, followed by three showcase games, Overwatch, Call of Duty, and Rocket League. Finally, the two community games that will be played are (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) PUBG and Rainbow Six: Siege.
