Immortals of Aveum, a magical-infused first-person shooter from Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios, will send players to the heart of Aveum, a war-torn world divided between battlemages and an evil ruler. According to the press announcement, the campaign will be single-player and include twenty-five or more hours of story-related content.

Immortals of Aveum is an upcoming first-person action game developed by Ascendant Studios, affiliated with the EA Originals label. According to the game's premise, players will be thrown into the Everwar, a never-ending conflict over who has the right to wield magic, Lucium or Rasharn. As an elite Triarch Magnus, you will join the Immortals of Lucium to carry the fight to Rasharn and defile the one who pulls the strings.
What is the story of Immortals of Aveum?
With the land on the verge of collapse, you must gather your army, learn the art of magic, and set out to preserve Aveum and its future. You will play the role of Jak, an expert magician who, as a member of the Immortals, will embark on a mission to discover Aveum's mysteries. You must find the world's hidden wisdom and play your part in an ongoing battle between the two realms—Lucium, home of the Immortals, and Rasharn, home of a wicked dictator.

Immortals of Aveum will have over 25 spells to learn, including offensive and defensive magics of three types: red, blue, and green. Furthermore, the game will have a talent tree with over 80 nodes to build and utilize in your arsenal. There will be magical gear to make, playstyles to try, and mysteries to discover.
