Bethesda Softworks released the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 2, bringing a lot of significant fixes regarding gameplay, visual aspects, and more. The patch notes showcase fixes for both PC and Xbox console players. These fixes should prominently enhance the graphics and some gameplay bugs should also be resolved.

General fix
- Issue fixed: The users' Game Slot may be reported as being damaged, or may appear to be completely missing when no actual problem had occurred.
Gameplay fix
- Issue fixed: It will prevent “Double vision” from getting stuck on screen when Indiana has almost drowned. If players have already encountered this issue, repeating the near-drown should clear the issue.
- Improvement: Some further enhancement has been implemented to reduce “stutter” from duplicated frames during cutscenes.
Missions and quests fix (contains spoiler)
- Issue fixed: Sometimes Gina may not approach the secret entrance to the Vatican Treasure Chamber, as it blocks the mission from progressing.
- Issue fixed: Sometimes Gina may go to pick the lock to the exit from the Vatican Treasure Chamber as soon as Indiana enters the room, as you may miss some very important story developments.
- Issue fixed: There's a big hole in the floor collision around the edge of the wall around the Ziggurat in Sukhothai that the player could fall through.
PC specific fix
- Issue fixed: Nvidia DLSS may cause performance problems if enabled.
- Issue fixed: Nvidia Frame Generation isn’t activated properly if HDR is in use.
- Issue fixed: Nvidia Low Latency Mode may cause performance issues when used with Frame Generation.
- Issue fixed: Global illumination can become fully disabled if playing with below minimum VRAM graphics cards.
- Issue fixed: Lighting can be overly bright in interior spaces if Path Tracing/Full Ray Tracing is set to Medium or High Quality.
- Issue fixed: Nvidia Frame Generation can be temporarily disabled if HDR is activated for the first time. To fix this, disable and then re-enable Nvidia DLSS. You need to perform this once.
Xbox specific improvement
- Improvement: Global Illumination on Xbox has been improved. It should fix issues where shadowed areas appear brighter than expected.
Additional Notes
There are some instances where content creators have faced game crashes during the usage of OBS. They must update to OBS' latest version (currently 31.0.0) to fix this issue.
