Indiana Jones and the Great Circle walkthrough: How to solve the Monkey Business mystery

The Monkey Business mystery is a puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle that takes place in the Fascist Armory located in Sukhothai. It involves recovering the Equipment Room Key stolen by monkeys. Completing this puzzle unlocks the Slugger II Adventure Book and also helps progress Book Collectible achievements.

How to find and solve the Monkey Business puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The Fascist Armory is located in Sukhothai. To get there, you can fast-travel to the Secret Armory Entrance if it’s already unlocked. Alternatively, sail south from the Wat Mahathat East entrance to the southeast dock on the largest island in the middle of the map. Look for a large chain-link fence and crawl through the opening to enter the armory.

First, ensure that you get inside the Armory stealthily, so that the guards in the camp don't hunt you. You can take the path on the left through the broken stone wall and approach from the side. If you have the Royal Army Outfit (found in Voss's camp), you can go through the camp without the soldiers being aggressive.

On the second floor of the tent, collect the following notes:

• Monkey Warning: Found on the corkboard in the corner.
• Francesco's Note: Located on the desk next to the corkboard.
• Keyring Note: Positioned on the wall near the door.

Take a picture of the Monkey Warning and examine all the notes to officially begin the mystery.

Finding the Monkeys and retrieving the key

Leave the two-story tent and go down using the stairs. Look out towards the camp to locate the distant guard tower. Head toward the guard tower and descend the stairs next to it. Nearby, you’ll find a truck. On the opposite side of the truck is a narrow path through the bushes. Follow this path until you emerge on the other side.

From there, turn right and head toward a broken staircase. Use it to jump over the water, avoiding the need to trudge through mud. Climb onto the brick foundation and turn left. Now, you should spot a monkey wearing a Royal Guard helmet. As you approach, the monkeys will scatter. The Equipment Room Key will be left behind on a rock. Pick up the key to proceed.

Return to the two-story tent in the Fascist Armory. Use the recovered key to unlock the Equipment Room door. Inside, retrieve the Slugger II Adventure Book and thoroughly search the room for Nazi cash and other valuable loot.
