You may have seen console titles appearing on the mobile platform every now and then but you don’t often see the reverse happening. But apparently that is exactly what is going to happen, as popular iOS title Infinity Blade is making its way to the Xbox One. Chinese developer TenCent Games has announced that it will bring Epic Games’ mobile action role-playing Infinity Blade series to the Xbox One as Infinity Blade Saga (via Gematsu).
As the name suggests, Infinity Blade Saga features content from all three iOS mobile Infinity Blade games to date, linked up together with a continuous storyline. TenCent has produced a demo of the new game, which is playable with Kinect or a controller, and said it may release before Lunar New Year in February if government approvals go smoothly, said the original A9VG post.
Gematsu also reports the game may release under a free-to-play model and is planned for launch in China before February 19, 2015. It’s unclear what the timeline plans are for a North American release or if the game will also make its way to PlayStation 4.
