How to complete the Forced Perspective: Capturing The Thief quest in Infinity Nikki
Once you have fulfilled the prerequisite, talk to Toran to initiate the Capturing The Thief quest. Upon completing the interaction, you will be tasked with clicking the picture of the criminal's poster behind the Iron Fence to create an optical illusion of a person behind the bar. The task is simple as long as you know how to use the Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki.
Wrap around the Guard's Office and find the Thief Warrant Poster on the wall. Open the ability wheel and pick Momo’s Camera. Point toward the poster and adjust the angle to make it appear behind the Iron Fence. The frame turning gold indicates the proper angle.
Press the shutter icon to capture the thief in the photo. If you cannot get the correct camera angle, use the f/16 aperture and try again. Additionally, click on Hide Nikki and enable the Eureka effects from the camera settings to get the best result.
Talk to Toran again and submit the Forced Perspective image to complete the quest. This will further unlock the series' Forced Perspective: Ship in a Bottle mission.
