Infinity Nikki permanent banner guide: How to select an outfit for Tidal Guidance

Like every other gacha game, Infinity Nikki features a permanent banner called the Distant Sea. Stylists can get up to five different 5-star outfits from this. Furthermore, the Distant Sea has a mechanic called the Tidal Guidance that allows players to select one of the five 5-star outfits, and pull pieces of clothing, only from that set, until it has been completed.

Tidal Guidance in Infinity Nikki is a mechanic that allows Stylists to select any one five 5-star outfit on the permanent banner and pull all nine to 10 pieces of the outfit until they have completed the set. To use this feature, you can open the Distant Sea banner page and click on the Tidal Guidance option above the 10 pulls icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Next, select any dress you like and click on Select. This will enable the Tidal Guidance and you can keep pulling until you get all the items from the said outfit. You can also click on the Outfit Preview option on the right side of the screen to check out all the dresses before selecting.

If you wish to change the dress for Tidal Guidance, you can simply click on the Give Up option and select some other dress. However, note that there is a limit on how many times you can pick an outfit. As of version 1.0, one can attempt Tidal Guidance only 100 times. Moreover, once you have given up on an outfit, it will not refund your attempts.

Therefore, players are advised to think carefully before selecting an outfit for Tidal Guidance, especially because the Resonite Crystal is also a rare resource, and completing a set can take a lot of time.
