You unlock the Photo mode in Infinity Nikki during the Chapter 1 story mission, Land of Wishes. Then, you can use the feature anytime and anywhere, just by pressing the P key on your keyboard. Pressing the button once will allow you to go into the mode and display various settings on the bottom left of the screen.

You can tweak the settings to your liking. Additionally, there are multiple poses that you can make Nikki do while taking a picture. You can also hide her while taking photos of the scenery. When you have found the perfect angle, filter, lightning, etc, capture a picture by pressing the Space Bar on your keyboard.
