PlayStation 5 owners already have a wealth of exclusive titles to boast about, and the newly released Astro Bot is the latest addition to their lineup. Just days after its launch, the successor to Astro's Playroom has captured the attention of players everywhere.
With numerous livestreams and Instagram reels showcasing the game, there’s growing anticipation for its PC version. Unfortunately, there’s no official word yet on when, or if, such a port will be available.
Given the title's impressive sales and Sony's recent trend of releasing PlayStation exclusives on PC, such a version could be in the works. With DualShock controllers now fully compatible with Steam, players can already enjoy releases like Uncharted and Marvel's Spiderman Miles Morales on their PCs.
Although there hasn't been an official announcement regarding a PC release for Astro Bot, developer Team Asobi has hinted at the possibility.

Astro Bot director provides a ray of hope for PC players
A few days ago, MinnMax's Ben Hanson interviewed Team Asobi studio director Nicolas Doucet in a YouTube video. At one point, Doucet was asked about the possibility of Astro Bot coming to PC. Even though Astro's Playroom was never released on PC, the developer hinted at a possible PC port for its successor.
Hanson inquired:
"Do you have a message out there for PC players who are super eager to some day play Astro Bot?" (02:39)
Doucet replied:
"Well, we wanna hear from you. Absolutely, we wanna hear from you." (02:43)
Doucet also confirmed that the game will not be releasing on the PlayStation VR 2. Explaining the reason behind this move, Doucet said:
"No chance. It's designed for a different medium. It would be a different game." (0:11)
Already the best-selling retail game on Amazon and completely sold out on Amazon Japan, Astro Bot is making strides in the gaming world.
Only time will tell when the title will be officially announced for PC. Until then, you can enjoy other PlayStation ports like Spiderman Miles Morales and The Last of Us Part 1.
