Bangalore is one of the oldest characters in Apex Legends and one of the most powerful ones. Since the meta tends to switch up a lot, many Legends have had their time in the spotlight and later stepped down. Among them, Bangalore has been under the spotlight for the longest time due to her abilities and fighting prowess.
The developers tend to tweak the Legends dominating the meta to let the others have their time under the spotlight, and this Assault Legend had her kit tweaked during the ongoing season. Keeping that in mind, many players may be wondering if Bangalore is still the meta pick in Apex Legends season 21.

Why is Bangalore meta in Apex Legends season 21?
Since the developers, Respawn Entertainment tweaked/nerfed Catalyst, the Controller Legend, players switched over to Bangalore and Bloodhound due to their exceptional synergy with one another. With the introduction of the EVO Perks system in Apex Legends Season 20, Bangalore saw her pick rate skyrocket as the perks made her exceptionally strong.
Although Bangalore had her perks and abilities tweaked a bit in Apex Legends Season 21, they are still quite helpful due to Bangalore's ability to block the opponent’s vision. With the most recent tweak, players who are at a certain distance from the smoke get highlighted, which makes it quite easy to see and shoot them.
There are a number of characters in Apex Legends, but Bangalore is unique and still in the meta. She can smoke the enemies off when her allies are attracting heat from them. Additionally, her Ultimate ability is perfect to stop any opponents from pushing when one of her teammates gets knocked down. Since Rolling Thunder can deal damage and stun any players in its effective radius, it can be quite bothersome to fight a team when you are stunned.
Bangalore’s versatility and ability to control the fight single-handedly allows players to have control over their adversaries, even when in a pinch. Moreover, the reduced ultimate cooldown perk ensures that Bangalore has it ready for every fight.
