Key highlights from the Dynasty Warriors Origins demo on PS5
Fans got a taste of the action with the demo preview featuring the iconic "Battle of Sishui Gate," offering a mix of strategy, fast-paced combat, and stunning visuals. The demo wasn’t just a teaser — it delivered a full slice of gameplay with a thrilling new battle against Lu Bu, who was absent from earlier showcases like the Tokyo Game Show 2024.
The best part? Players could explore the demo at their own pace, as it had no time limit and a more challenging battle compared to its predecessor, Dynasty Warriors 9. Four weapon types — Sword, Guandao, Pudao, and Wheels — were available, giving players plenty of variety as they fought through swarms of enemies.
On the other hand, our Esports and Gaming journalist 'Jason Parker' had the chance for an exclusive interview with Tomohiko Sho, the game’s producer, who shared intriguing insights about the game. When asked about the story and endings, Sho teased:
"There aren’t just three."
Sho hinting at a more complex narrative structure, which only adds to the excitement surrounding this title.
Moreover, the game will come with three different editions at the time of release in January.
