Is Fallout London available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S?

Fallout London is a mod project by Team FOLON that adds a new storyline to the base Fallout 4 game. As its name implies, the experience is set in London, and players will find everything from parliamentary elites to a fanatical cult of revolutionaries in it.

However, Fallout London is not available on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. It is not available on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, either. As such, unless you're on the PC, you can't play it.

Team FOLON officially confirmed on the mod's website that the extension will remain exclusive to the PC for now, saying:

"We do not plan to bring Fallout: London to any platform other than PC at this time. Specific standalone items may be released separately. The community has the permission to convert said standalone items to other platforms."

Although the base game, Fallout 4, is available on various platforms, the mod cannot be downloaded on a console. Its size is about 30 gigabytes, which most likely makes it incompetent for distribution through the game's modding system.

Will there be a Fallout London release for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in the future?

Although fans suspected that this enormous mod could never come to PlayStation due to Sony's strict modding rules, some hoped there would be an Xbox release. Dean Carter, the Project Lead, confirmed this was impossible for various reasons in a video. One problem is the mod is far too large to be supported on consoles. He said:

"We're unable to bring the mod to console platforms. We can't do it. We'd hoped in vain that the new update would have allowed that, but it's just simply too big. The mod is far too big. It currently stands around 30 to 40 gigabytes; it's just not going to fit on the Xbox systems."

There will likely not be any console releases for the Fallout London mod in the future. If you want to play this on a PC, head to the official GOG website to download it for free.
