Similar to many other games in the Musou genre, your attacks will not hit your ally forces and will instead target enemies and devastate them.
Furthermore, you don't have to worry about your allies getting upset when you attack near them. The characters in Dynasty Warriors Origins completely ignore your attacks unless they are on the enemy team as your blows will phase through them and target your opponents.
