The God Of War franchise has made its way to the PC market, courtesy of Sony releasing a port onto Steam and the Epic Games Store. 2018's God Of War was released in January 2022 on PC and has been well-appreciated by players. With Sony's trend of first releasing games as exclusives onto its PlayStation consoles and then later porting to PC, it was only a matter of time before 2022's Ragnarök made its way to PC as well.
The game will hit PC on September 19, 2024. However, a prominent question is whether the Valhalla DLC would also be available on the platform. The answer to that is yes, God of War Ragnarok will come with Valhalla available as a free DLC.
God Of War: Ragnarok Valhalla DLC to be available Day 1 on PC
As a token of gratitude towards the playerbase, developer Santa Monica Studio made the Valhalla DLC available for PlayStation players at no extra cost, provided they owned a copy of the base game.

With this news, PC players on Steam, as well as Epic Games will be able to enjoy the complete experience of the iconic Sony title. The DLC is bundled in with the purchase of the Digital Deluxe edition, as well as the Standard Edition.

Why play the Valhalla DLC
The DLC continues the story, with Kratos being accompanied solely by Mimir. Valhalla is also an all-new map location available to players and is a perfect setting for Kratos to overcome the many trials and tribulations put forth in front of him.
References and callbacks to older games in the franchise are also made, while the combat and roguelike fighting style of the main game is improved on as well. The story picks up not too long after the main campaign and features new bosses and a unique progression system.
