With Xbox moving away from their console-exclusive business model, new reports have surfaced that suggest Halo might be coming to PS5. Since the latest gen of consoles dropped, Xbox is changing its plans for the platform. Despite acquiring a host of studios and promising exclusivity for their system, many titles now seem to be making their way to other platforms, including PlayStation.
One such recent announcement is the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle game, which was first deemed to be an Xbox and PC exclusive. However, it was revealed that the game is coming to PS5 in 2025. This stirred up a few controversies among Xbox fans, who felt betrayed by the news.
But keeping that aside for now, one of Xbox's first-party triple-A exclusive series is now reportedly making its way to the PlayStation 5.

Exploring the possibilities of Xbox's Halo coming to PS5
According to a report by Tom Warren from The Verge, Microsoft is in early talks of a Halo release for PS5. While the report does not directly confirm that the series will be released for PlayStation, it certainly hints that Xbox might be bringing their triple-A exclusive to PS5.
The Halo series has been the face of the Xbox and was one of the exclusive titles that pushed the platform to the level it is today. In fact, in the era of Xbox 360 and PS3, Halo played a major role in bringing in players to the Xbox platform and might be one of the reasons for the overwhelming triumph of Microsoft over PlayStation in early sales.
To date, the franchise is cherished by the fans and is among the last few remaining exclusives on the Microsoft platforms.

However, based on the report by Tom Warren, the franchise might be making its way to the PS5. The report states although a new launch might not be planned, the studios are reportedly working on a Combat Evolved remaster for the PS5.
Do note that Bungie was also recently acquired by PlayStation, which was one of the studios that worked on Xbox's first-party exclusive, including Combat Evolved.
That said, do note that nothing has been officially confirmed by Microsoft and these are merely speculations based on third-party reports. However, with the recent announcements of the FPS series moving to Unreal Engine 5 and Xbox's changing business model, it won't be out of the blue if Xbox does decide to push a Halo game on the PlayStation platform.
