Qingyi’s pull value in Zenless Zone Zero 1.1

Qingyi’s abilities

Understanding Qingyi’s kit in Zenless Zone Zero is crucial to analyzing her combat potential, which will also help determine if she is worth pulling in the new banner. Firstly, she is an Electric unit that specializes in the Stun fighting style. Hence, her abilities are tailored to quickly stagger enemies, enabling the primary DPS to deal damage.

Qingyi’s Basic ATK has different effects depending on how you activate it. Here are the details:

  • Tap the ability continuously to launch up to four consecutive forward rush attacks, dealing Physical and Electric Damage. Release the button after the third hit to transition into the final empowered strike.
  • Press the button to execute a forward rush attack. Qingyi accumulates Flash Connect voltage after inflicting Electric DMG and uses it to enter a special state.
  • During Flash Connect state, she can launch up to five consecutive forward rush attacks, and then execute a finishing strike.
  • She can trigger Perfect Dodge with a finishing strike just before taking a hit to trigger.
  • Increases anti-interrupt level during the rush attack. Qingyi also becomes invulnerable during the finishing blow.

A big chunk of the damage is tucked away in Qingyi’s Special Attack, which has the following properties:

  • Use the ability to launch an upward strike, followed by a downward smash. This will deal Electric DMG.
  • When Qingyi has enough energy, press and hold the button to launch a series of strikes before the downward smash.

Like every Zenless Zone Zero character, Qingyi's Core Skill includes a passive and an additional ability, which are as follows:

  • Core Passive: When Qingyi launches the finishing strike in her Flash Connect state, she applies subjugation stacks on the enemies. Each stack increases their Stun Damage multiplier.
  • Additional Ability: When other characters in the squad share similar Attribute or Faction with Qingyi, she deals increased Daze. Additionally, if her Impact is greater than a certain threshold, she gains some Attack stat for every exceeding point.

Qingyi also has access to Dodge, Assist, and Chain attacks, but you will be using the above skills for the majority of the time during combat.

Qingyi’s pull value in Zenless Zone Zero 1.1

The Stun specialization makes Qingyi one of the most coveted S-Rank characters to get in the current meta, as she can quickly stagger enemies and help DPS units to deal damage. On that note, her own damage output will be consistent, considering how her basic attack has multi-hit properties.

However, Qingyi's biggest rival is Anby. The latter belongs to the same element and specialization, but she is far more accessible than the S-Rank unit in Zenless Zone Zero. Yes, not only does Anby belong to the A-Rank roster, but the game also gave her way for free.

Hence, Qingyi has a lot to prove, and perhaps she will be a frequent pick once the end-game activities favor Electric units. Currently, the title has a plethora of excellent individuals from the specified element, so new faces have to be insanely strong to rise above the competition.

Despite belonging to a saturated element, Qingyi has the potential to stand out as the best Stun character in Zenless Zone Zero. Hence, you should definitely summon her. She can be used across various squads and will work well with other New Eridu Public Security members.

That said, you can also consider saving your resources on Qingyi’s banner in ZZZ to get Jane Doe in the second phase. Jane Doe will be an incredible sub-DPS from the Anomaly specialization, and her kit is fairly future-proof.
