Why you should build Yangyang in Wuthering Waves

Every character in Wuthering Waves features a unique playstyle, which provides a fresh experience overall. Moreover, the contents are skill-dependent, meaning you can clear bosses and tackle enemies with any Resonator as long as you master their gameplay.

Likewise, Yangyang is a 4-star unit with moderate difficulty, so you should be able to use her with some basic knowledge of her combos and abilities. Speaking of which, she has excellent crowd control potential, as her Ultimate conjures a cyclone to gather nearby enemies. Hence, she can take on the role of a sub-DPS for compositions that particularly lack AoE potential.

Yangyang’s damage potential is by no means less than that of other 4-star characters. She can rival the likes of Danjin and Sanhua, considered to be the best on the roster. Although they are not as powerful as the 5-star Resonators, you can use them to clear all the game contents just fine.

Yangyang's biggest advantage is that she synergizes with Aalto, another 4-star Aero character in Wuthering Waves. You might want to build them for the Tower of Adversity, which requires three teams once you progress to the Hazard Zone.

While Aalto can increase the elemental damage of Yangyang, she can provide energy to her allies. Throw Baizhi into the mix to create an accessible team to take on the end-game content.

Very few Resonator has fast-paced gameplay like Yangyang, so her playstyle is enjoyable. She boasts smooth attack animations, unlike clunky 5-star units like Verina or Encore. Perhaps rectifiers aren’t as polished as swords, so Yangyang prevails in the battle of elegance.
