Jason Voorhees added to Mortal Kombat X roster

Jason Voorhees

When Mortal Kombat 9 hit the stores and offered a season pass of characters, Freddy Krueger was included. Many fans had requested for a DLC in the form of Jason Voorhees that would allow them to make a much better Freddy vs. Jason matchup. However, this was not to be as Jason never came on Mortal Kombat 9. Friday the 13th was a good day for Mortal Kombat fans as Jason Voorhees’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat X’s roster was confirmed.

This was revealed in a trailer that showed Jason Voorhees himself and that he will be part of the Kombat Pack. The reveal had come courtesy of PlayStation, but the Xbox owners need not feel dejected as Jason will be available to them too.

Various other characters like Predator and Spawn have been rumored thanks to the GameStop website that mentioned that Mortal Kombat X will include both “iconic guest characters” and “klassic MK combatants.” Now that Jason is available we hope Freddy would join the roster too as allow fans to make that dream matchup between the two.

Mortal Kombat X will release on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure you do not miss out the trailer below.
