Jinhsi is a new 5-star Broadblade character debuting during the first half of version 1.1 on June 28, 2024. She is the first damage dealer from the Spectro attribute and is meant to be played as a burst DPS.

Let's take a look at Jinhsi's pros and cons:

Pros

  • Amazing main DPS from the Spectro element.
  • High damage multipliers.
  • Enables the use of Intro and Outro skills more often via the Unison effect.

Cons

  • Players need to spend some time to learn her gameplay mechanics.
  • No dedicated support characters are available for Spectro units.

Changli is the latest 5-star Sword user who will be releasing during the second half of version 1.1 on July 22, 2024. She is a sub-DPS from the Fusion attribute who can buff the Fusion damage of her allies.

Listed below are Changli's pros and cons:

Pros

  • Capable of dealing ample amounts of Fusion DMG.
  • Outro Skill buffs the Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation damage of the next character to take the field.
  • After unlocking Inherent Skill, ignores 15% enemy DEF.
  • Good long-term investment for Fusion attribute main DPS characters.

Cons

  • Requires an understanding of gameplay mechanics.
  • May not be as useful currently if the player doesn't have Encore.

Jinhsi vs Changli: Best character to pull in Wuthering Waves 1.1

Both Jinhsi and Changli boast stunning animations and either one can be a great addition to your account. If you lack a dependable 5-star damage dealer, the former will be the way to go. However, if you need a sub-DPS for your Encore or any other trustworthy damage dealer, Changli is the better pick.

That said, I would personally recommend going for Changli in Wuthering Waves version 1.1, owing to her versatility. She is a must-have for Encore and other future Fusion DPS characters and a solid long-term investment. While Jinhsi is very strong, her max potential may only be unleashed after Kuro Games introduces a dedicated Spectro attribute support.
