After the splendid success of Battlefield 4, a new Battlefield game, Battlefield 5 is all set to release in 2016. EA games have confirmed the launch of Battlefield 5 for 2016. Battlefield: Hardline with its prime attention on cops and robbers was a subsidiary for the series and the 2016 Battlefield 5 is rumored to highlight a more military-themed feel.
Battlefield: Hardline lacked the lavish status that warring nations brought to gaming according to gamers and for a gaming franchise of this grandeur, 'less popular' doesn’t fit in the vocabulary. The announcement of Battlefield: Hardline received a mixed response from gamers. As a result, the game launch was delayed and EA shifted the release to the end of the first quarter of next-year. There is a high probability that Battlefield 5 will be releasing in holiday 2016.
At the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that the game will announce its homecoming with its military shooter origins. Jorgensen declared that he has already set his mind on the new game. “It will be the return to a Battlefield military-style game,” Jorgensen revealed.
With the ample resources that the game makers have in their hands, it will be quite exciting to see what EA games can really come up with following the motto of 'quality over quantity.'
