League of Legends LCK Spring 2024 Group Stage: Event format, teams, schedule, and more

After a great 2023 League of Legends season, the time has finally come for the start of the LCK Spring 2024 Group Stage. While JD Gaming from China was dominant throughout the year, it was T1 from the LCK that ultimately triumphed at the Worlds 2023. Following that, there have been quite a few changes made to the team rosters.

LCK Spring 2024 Group Stage: Event format and teams participating

In the upcoming spring season, there will be a grand total of 10 teams competing for supremacy in the group stage. Importantly, each team will battle it out in 18 matches that are based on a double round-robin framework.

The top six teams will be granted highly sought-after spots in the playoffs. Furthermore, the teams that manage to secure the prestigious first and second positions during the group stage will firmly solidify their position in the forthcoming round of the playoffs.

Conversely, the remaining four teams will find themselves engaging in a fierce battle in an elimination format during the preliminary round. Consequently, only two teams will emerge victorious and earn the opportunity to challenge the top two teams in what should be a thrilling showdown.
