The League of Legends LPL Split 1 2025 Group Stage starts on January 12, 2025. It features 16 prominent teams from China that have been divided into four groups based on the 2024 LPL Splits results. While all matches will feature a Fearless Draft (best-of-five), only the top two teams from each group will proceed to the Playoff Stage.

Teams were seeded into groups based on the outcomes of the LPL Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 events, ensuring an equitable distribution based on their respective performance. Nevertheless, with recent roster alterations and the influx of numerous South Korean players into the LPL teams, the competitive landscape of the region appears more formidable than ever.
