The League of Legends patch 14.13 preview has surfaced, revealing upcoming rune upheavals on the rift and tweaks to a few champions. While these are merely the first sketches, they need to be tested on the PBE server to determine their viability for change. As we can catch a glimpse of what might be in store, these potential adjustments were showcased by Riot's Lead Gameplay Designer Matt Leung-Harrison on his X account.

As per the X post made by Matt Leung-Harrison, Changes to runes such as Dark Harvest and Electrocute are the main aspects for the League of Legends patch 14.13 preview. Similarly, certain modifications will be made to different ADC champions.
That said, these champions and system modifications are not final adjustments, as they may change before the updates go live in next week's main server patch. We will update this piece if the developers include changes to the patch preview.

Kalista and Varus have been among the stronger professional champions for some time now. However, with Patch 14.12, we also witness Ezreal making a grand entrance into the meta.
The developers aim at tweaking Varus in a manner that reduces his value in professional play, yet does not eliminate both of his builds. Currently, the Lethality Varus stands as the optimal build; however, they are striving to make on-hit Varus more viable in competition.

When will the League of Legends patch 14.13 hit the live server?
Patch 14.13 is anticipated to be launched on June 26, 2024. The update will make its debut on the Oceanic servers and then gradually propagate to other servers over the day.
As downtimes during the patching of 14.13 will happen in different regions, some of them are shown below:
- PT: 3 AM (North America)
- GMT: 5 AM (Europe West)
- CET: 3 AM (Europe North East)
- KST: 8 AM (South Korea)
In addition, matchmaking queues will be deactivated about three to four hours before the patching occurs.
