With League of Legends Worlds 2024 fast approaching, Riot has announced key details about the upcoming tournament. This year, the Worlds 2024 happens in Europe and kicks off on September 25 at Riot Games Arena in Berlin. Meanwhile, the Worlds Final will take place in London on November 2. The 20 best teams across eight regions are set to compete on the league's biggest stage.

League of Legends Worlds 2024 schedule and venue

League of Legends Worlds 2024 consists of five stages, starting from the Play-Ins stage. The qualifying teams will play in the Swiss Stage on October 3 to 13. Only the top eight teams from the Swiss Stage advance to the Quarterfinals at the Adidas Arena in Paris.

The four remaining teams advance to the Semifinals in the same arena, and the top two World finalists go to O2 in London to compete for the Worlds trophy.

20 teams from eight different regions will compete in League of Legends' biggest tournament of the year. Each region can send a limited number of seeds, depending on the region's recent performance on the international stage.

• LCK teams: 4
• LPL teams: 4
• LEC teams: 3
• LCS teams: 3
• PCS teams: 2
• VCS teams: 2
• CBLOL team: 1
• LLA team: 1

This year's MSI also introduced a big change in the Worlds seeding. With Gen.G winning MSI 2024, the team automatically qualifies for Worlds 2024 while securing an additional slot for LCK. Meanwhile, runner-up BLG also secured an additional slot for LPL.
