A little over a decade has passed since Riot Games introduced the inaugural anthem for the LoL Worlds, which was "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons. This track from the emerging band initiated a 10-year journey of remarkable music partnerships, celebrating the most significant competitive highlights of LoL.

Now, a new legendary group is receiving this honor, as Linkin Park’s latest song, "Heavy Is the Crown," takes its place as the soundtrack for one of the largest global esports events. The co-founder of the band and co-lead vocalist, Mike Shinoda, said:

"It’s been an amazing experience partnering with Riot to bring this anthem to the global League of Legends community. The song is a real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy. We’re so excited for players and fans to experience this!"

Since earlier this month, LoL fans have been buzzing with excitement over rumors of a potential collaboration with Linkin Park. This speculation intensified following the band's announcement of their return with a new album, From Zero, which sparked a curious response from the LoL Esports social media account.

Considering Shinoda’s enthusiasm for Valorant, many had anticipated such as collaboration.
