A strong debut season for the HLE squad in the spring garnered much praise. The team looked on the same page for most of the time and was almost able to make to playoffs last season. Their performance against the weaker or mid table teams were excellent but they really struggled against the top tier teams. The team also didn't have any particular player who was outstanding for the split. Now with other teams making decent changes to their main squad, it could be hard for HLE replicate their performance from spring.

#6 Sandbox

Sandbox surprised many when they made it to the playoffs last season. The team came straight from challenger scene and was able to carry their form to the LCK last split. Much like other new teams last split Sandbox didn't have amazing performances throughout but was consistent enough to stay at the top half of the table. However, it would be interesting if they can manage to stay consistent this season.
