The game will arrive on PC (via Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms on September 25, 2024, and will cost $49.99 USD. While it is unclear when a worldwide physical launch will arrive, it is confirmed to be a thing. This new remaster is touted as the definitive version of the 2012 original thanks to various quality of life improvements.

There are two modes in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP: The original and the RePOP mode which features neon pop effects over the gore. Regardless of which mode players choose, however, fans will be disappointed to know that nearly all of the original soundtrack has been replaced with a new one due to licensing issues.

The game also features a Streamer Mode to cover the one licensed track that is intact for the Shop. Pre-orders for the game are not yet live so players will need to be a little more patient.
