Quantam Break to be released in 2015

One of the most buzzed about games recently is the new upcoming first person shooter title ‘Quantum Break’. The game is being developed by Remedy Entertainment , the same guys behind the Max Payne series and will be releasing for the Xbox One.

Quantum break will feature a star studded cast and a television series based on the game is in production right now. In fact, Remedy Entertainment has stated that how the players play the game will directly impact the television show.

"How you play the game impacts the show, and the show informs how you play the game."

Plot based on a failed Time Travel experiment

The game centers around three characters, protagonists Jack Joyce and Beth Wilder and antagonist Paul Serene. It is set in the fictional North Easter US Riverport University where a time travel experiment has gone wrong causing time to break down. But this also grants Joyce the power to stop time.

Serene on the other hand can see into the future and changes his choices in the present accordingly. Joyce and Wilder are pursued by Serene and his corporation Monarch Solutions. It will feature a third-person perspective with time manipulation powers.

Remedy Entertainment is also doing their research so the plot makes as much sense as possible by contacting a lecturer at CERN who helped them with writing the plot in such a way that it adhered to current theoretical physics.

Besides the interesting plot, the game also boasts of a star studded cast which will feature Dominic Monaghan and Shawn Ashmore. So this is defiantly going to be one title to look out for in 2015.

The game is expected to arrive next year in 2015.
