How to co-op with a friend in Lords of the Fallen
To be able to play with Lords of the Fallen with a friend and explore the various areas of the map with them, you will first need to make your way to a checkpoint and Vestige. You can only invite a friend or another random player here.
The player that summons another will be the host, and it is their world that the summoned player will be able to explore. However, remember that you can only call one player during your co-op session.
Additionally, you will not be able to make any progress and only get to play the already explored areas when in co-op mode. So, to progress further with the narrative, you must end the co-op session.
What happens when players die during a co-op session in Lords of the Fallen?
If the summoned player dies in the game, the host can revive them. However, it will take some time to do, leaving the host vulnerable to attacks.
Conversely, if the hosts themselves die, then both the summoner and the summoned will teleport to the Land of Dead in the Ubral world.
How to play PvP in Lords of the Fallen
To be able to play the souls-like with other players, you will need to be invaded or invade the world of another player. An invasion can occur anytime during a run, so be careful when the message pops up.
If you are invading another player, it's important to note here that you will only have one life, and as an invader, you will not be able to revive yourself using an Umbral Lamp and will be kicked back to your world.
