According to reports, the executive producer of Lords of the Fallen, Tomasz Gop, revealed that the resolution of the game will be different for different platforms. He spoke with VideoGamer.com and confirmed that Lords of the Fallen will run at 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PlayStation 4. He further added, "There’s nothing different I would say" between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions other than the resolution.
Earlier this year, Gop revealed that developers at CI Games were having a difficult time getting the resolution for Lords of the Fallen up to 1080p on Xbox One. And similar to what Blizzard did with Diablo III, there reportedly aren't any plans to bump up the Xbox One resolution. After all, with the game having since been certified for launch in the US, the team is just working on tweaking and toning the game ahead of its upcoming release.
Gop went on to say, "It's really, really close [to completion]. Pretty much the only thing that we're doing is last minute fixes, but we've already been certified. We're already past the US certification for PlayStation." Lords of the Fallen launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 31.
