Before starting this quest, you have to familiarize yourself with Lighthouse. For that, you can easily pull up a Map from either the Tarkov wiki or Tarkov Help website. Once you know your way around the map, regardless of where spawn, you will be able to do this task easily.

When you spawn on the map, quickly make your way to the upper chalet also known as red chalet or upper cottage. The chalet is fairly simple to locate as it also features a small tennis court right behind it, which is where you need to go to do the Lost Contact task.

After reaching the upper chalet, safely make your way towards the tennis court where you will see a couple of covered dead bodies lying on the ground. Walk near them for a bit and you will get the first quest objective done.

Now quickly either go back inside the chalet or leave the area completely as players tend to camp the mountains on the seashore side to secure some kills for their Shooter Born in Heaven task.

The safest and fastest extract from the location is Mountain Pass, but it requires the Red Rebel ice pick, paracord, and no armor. Therefore, if you are wearing armor and a rig, you have to put the armor in your backpack or leave it behind.

Another good extract is the Southern Road, which doesn’t require additional items and is always open regardless of where you spawn on the map.
