It has been known that Nintendo is going to release the first ever downloadable content (DLC) for Mario Kart 8. Apparently, the DLC is coming out in 2 different packs. Pack 1 brings the character link from the famous Nintendo game "The Legend of Zelda" along with Tanooki Mario(Mario in a raccoon called Tanooki's suit) and Cat Peach. Plus, four new vehicles will also be included, such as the Master Cycle and Blue Falcon. Other content of the DLC include eight full soundtracks and lots of new stages like Yoshi Circuit, Excitebike Arena, etc.

It has been revealed that the pack 1 will be released on November 13 available for $7.99 and the pack 2 will be coming in sometime around May 2015.
