Cheating issue in Marvel Rivals explained

The official Marvel Rivals subreddit is flooded with posts containing evidence that hackers are running around freely without repercussions.

The most common type of cheat that was presented in Reddit posts was aimbot. This hack allows a user to kill players without even pointing the crosshair in their direction. On the other hand, wallhackers are another set of nuisance makers who can eliminate other players even through walls.

Marvel Rivals' anti-cheat seems to be the issue as it fails to detect suspicious players. Despite there being a report feature, the title's massive player base of two hundred thousand concurrent users makes it difficult to issue bans.

NetEase and Marvel Games are working to fix the cheating issue in Marvel Rivals. The game banned 190 accounts during the closed beta test which goes to show that they are taking the problem seriously. The developers at NetEase Games have encouraged the players to report any unusual user that they encounter during matches.
