What is Marvel Rivals Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival?

Marvel Rivals Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival is likely going to be a limited-time mode that will be added to the playlist for the community during the Winter Celebration update. The patch is going to be deployed on December 20, 2024, at 00:00 UTC. The event will likely continue throughout the end of the year, expiring after the first week of January 2025.

The exact rules of the winter-themed game mode have not been released at the time of writing this article. However, we can make a few assumptions based on the limited gameplay footage included in the announcement post.

The Marvel Rivals Jeff’s Winter Splash seems to be a zone capture mode where players would need to use Jeff’s abilities to secure as many areas as possible on the map. This has to be done while fighting against other players who would also play as Jeff and try to complete the same goals. The mode will be hosted in a lobby of eight players — with four Jeffs on each team. It will be added to the Arcade Mode tab in the playlist.

The Marvel Rivals Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival will also potentially be locked to a few maps from the existing pool as the devs are going to provide a complete winter makeover to the arenas. It looks like a fun mode that would be arriving as a winter holiday exclusive alongside several new skins.

The Winter Celebration update in Marvel Rivals will also introduce new ice-out cosmetics for Groot, Venom, Rocket Raccoon, and Magik. Here is a list of the rewards that you can secure by playing the upcoming LTM:
