Marvel Rivals to potentially get Captain America Infinity War skin

According to the popular group of data miners, @X0X_LEAK, Marvel Rivals could be receiving a brand new Captain America skin in the near future. This skin may bring back the MCU look of Steve Rogers from the 2018 film, Avengers: Infinity War.

In the movie, Captain America can be seen donning a worn-out version of his star-spangled costume. The star insignia at the center of his chest is torn out or carefully removed, and he has a thick beard and long hair. He also appears without his traditional circular shield. Therefore, to help in battle, he is gifted with a new advanced shield by King T'Challa, the Black Panther.

Even if the leaks are to be believed, it is currently unknown if all the physical features of the outfit will come out in the game looking exactly like in the film. However, given Marvel Rivals' history of maintaining accuracy while portraying skins, that just may be the case.

Furthermore, according to @X0X_LEAK, a brand new Captain America Brave New World nameplate may also grace the game in the near future. The nameplate comes from the 2025 film of the same name (the story features Sam Wilson taking up the mantle of Captain America).

The film (Captain America: Brave New World) is set for release in the United States on February 14, 2025. The skins may be introduced in the game shortly after or right before the release of the film in order to better promote the new studio release.

However, the skin and the nameplate have not yet been confirmed by the developers at NetEase Games.
