Marvel Rivals Mister Fantastic Stretch Punch seems broken

Marvel Rivals Mister Fantastic's primary attack Stretch Punch allows him to stretch his limbs for a long-range melee attack of up to 15 metres, which is quite similar to Groot. He can also swing his arms to hit multiple enemies at once, tagged as a Special Mechanic in the official description. However, players have uncovered a possible exploit that takes this mechanic to an entirely new level.

If you use a high-DPI mouse, you can rapidly flick the aim in a 360-degree motion and damage all the enemies around instantly. All the players get an equal amount of damage. Some players can misuse this by setting up a macro or hotkey to instantly switch to a high DPI when they want to execute an all-around attack and then switch back to their normal DPI for precise aiming.

This interaction turns Mister Fantastic into a walking area-of-effect weapon, giving him an overwhelming advantage in close combat scenarios. Unlike other melee heroes who rely on precise targeting, Mister Fantastic bypasses these traditional mechanics.

For the uninitiated, dots per inch (DPI) measures mouse sensitivity by determining how far a cursor moves on the screen based on physical movement of the mouse. High DPI offers quick actions while low DPI offers precision. Not all mice have the same DPI range, and premium products often offer a significantly higher one, which makes the abovementioned ability overpowering for those with better peripherals.

This broken ability of Marvel Rivals Mister Fantastic has sparked discussions within the community about game balance and NetEase Games has not officially addressed their concerns yet.
