Marvel Rivals Season 1 lacks new Achievements and Trophies for characters

However, PlayStation and Xbox users who enjoy trophy hunting have received disappointing news as no new challenges have been added for the newly introduced characters, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

No new Achievements and Trophies have been added for the new characters in Marvel Rivals Season 1

Many console players enjoy collecting PlayStation Trophies and Xbox Achievements, which are typically lists of challenges associated with each game. These challenges don't provide in-game rewards, but add value through satisfaction, bragging rights, and an overall enhanced experience.

Similar to other games, Marvel Rivals features PlayStation Trophies and Xbox Achievements for players to obtain. Naturally, with the launch of Season 1 and the introduction of new characters — Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman — many expected new Achievements and Trophies. However, players were left disappointed to find no such additions for the new heroes.

This decision mirrors the approach taken by Overwatch 2, which stopped adding new Achievements and Trophies for each character introduction.

Since the game is still new and Season 1 will launch in two halves, there is a possibility that future updates might include these features. So when The Thing and Human Torch join the roster in the second half of the season, the developers might introduce Achievements and Trophies for the entire Fantastic Four family.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding this, so players will have to wait and see what the future holds.

Nevertheless, in-game challenges have been added for the new characters, allowing players to earn points by completing them. Reaching specific point milestones unlocks exciting rewards, including two free skins: the Ivory Breeze Storm Skin at 200 points and the Jovial Star Star-Lord Skin at 400 points. Additionally, by gathering 540 points players will earn a total of 1,500 Units.
