Marvel Rivals has quickly gained attention for its innovative and fun portrayal of iconic superheroes. The shooter features various skins and designs that are heavily inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a detail the gaming community has eagerly embraced.

X user @ItsSomjuu recently highlighted this in a post, which has garnered over 48,000 likes and hundreds of comments. They praised NetEase Games' development team for the uncanny resemblances:

"You can tell the devs have SO MUCH passion for the game!"

The accompanying video compares several Marvel hero animations to scenes from the MCU. It features heroes Adam Warlock, Black Widow, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Loki, Namor, Scarlet Witch, and Wolverine.

Interestingly, the comment section reflects a divide: some fans appreciate and desire more of such references, while others have criticized NetEase Games for various reasons.

@47Sha__ and @Pupsker commended the developer, while @xdepo_ynx expressed a wish for a completely black Magneto skin and an MVP animation from the original movie.

Some players pointed out that an original movie scene featuring Adam Warlock is notably faster compared to his sluggish in-game movements.

@Loftgen questioned NetEase Games about Adam Warlock's lack of mobility in Marvel Rivals. Meanwhile, @Chubbyzoro was disappointed that, unlike in the MCU and in-game hero selection animation, Adam can't fly during matches.

@xxyourdisease accused the developer of merely copying MCU animations for Marvel Rivals. @baller_bre drew an interesting comparison, arguing that directly lifting scenes from movies doesn't reflect NetEase Games' passion.
