The developer has also provided some explanation as to why they have made these changes to these cards.

For example, cards on the Arishem deck were enough to fuel two Blobs, and Mystique also used to copy Blob's text as an Ongoing Card. Therefore, the developer wanted to simplify the card since it's the last change.

In Mockingbird's case, the card has always been at the top of the meta since her release. However, with the introduction of the Arishem deck, she has started encouraging the use of cards like Agent Coulsen and others and has become more dominant. Thus, the developer has tried to adjust the card a little to ensure that the players need to make substantial investments it utilize its full potential.

Hydra Bob, on the other hand, has remained quite underrated since its release. While the card has got the job done in games where he played, players have yet to explore the riskier side of its gameplay. Therefore, the developer announced these changes to Hydra Bob in the Marvel Snap Balance Adjustments on July 18, 2024, to ensure that the final position of this card matters in games.

The developer also stated that the changes made to Ravonna Renslayer's card in the Marvel Snap Balance Adjustments are arriving as an attempt to promote a bit of commitment from the players while building around this card.

Viper is receiving a Quality-of-Life change in the Marvel Snap Balance Adjustment this month to help her hit her intended targets more consistently while playing the game. Sauron, on the other hand, is getting a little boost in this update to give the Sauron decks a viable option for the community.

Other cards, like Hit-Monkey, Werewolf by Night, and Lockjaw, are also getting some buffs in the Marvel Snap Balance Adjustment update.
