Sentinel initial release
On September 3, 2024, Marvel Strike Force will release Sentinel at 2 pm PDT. Sentinel, a formidable tech Protector, will join the game with abilities that shield the Orchis team through Taunts, defensive buffs, and summoning sentinel minions. Players can begin unlocking Sentinel through the Sentinel Orchis Orb, which is available for 675 Power Cores and offers up to 180 Sentinel shards.
Alongside the Sentinel release, the A Greater Purpose event also kicks off, challenging players to spend Iso-8 Campaign Energy, battle in Cosmic Crucible, and collect Crimson Council Orb Fragments. The event will run concurrently with the A Greater Power Web Milestone, where spending Radioactive Treats in the Event Store will net you additional rewards.
For those who enjoy team collaboration, the Tolerance is Extinction Alliance Milestone will also start on September 3. By collecting milestone points from Orchis Raid nodes, battling in Raids, and gathering Allied Supply VI Orb Fragments, alliances can earn valuable rewards including Cosmic Power, Orchis Team Orbs, and Ciphers.
Character availability and new features
In the Marvel Strike Force Battle Plan, the developers ensured they would provide character availability updates through inbox. Notable characters like Pandapool will be added to the Raid Store and Raid Orb, Daken to the Arena Store and Arena Orb, and Spider-Man (Pavitr) to the Blitz Store and Blitz Orb.
Additionally, the Spotlight Orb will feature a selection of characters including Peni Parker, Spider-Man (Pavitr), Peter B. Parker, The Leader, and Iron Patriot.
Starting on September 3, Red Star Orbs will feature increased drop rates for Orchis Team members, including Sentinel. This is the perfect opportunity to power up your characters and gain an edge in battles.
Friday free claim and additional events
Players can claim free rewards on Friday through the official webpage on August 31, which includes 500 Cosmic Power and 500 Old Enemies Milestone Points.
Finally, the Annihilator Initiative events will continue, providing even more opportunities to earn valuable resources, including Quantum Bands and Cosmic Power. The events will run alongside A Greater Power Web Event and Tolerance is Extinction Alliance Milestone, further enhancing your progression in the game.
