The campaign of Metaphor ReFantazio takes players across the vast map of the United Kingdom of Euchronia, and within the story are present a whole host of side quests to undertake. One of these is the Abandoned Tomb, which necessitates that players start a specific side quest in order to access the area in question.

The Abandoned Tomb may pose a challenge, though it is very beneficial to complete it given that completion results: a new Archetype being unlocked, along with a new Follower Bond as well. Below are the steps to clear out the Abandoned Tomb in Metaphor ReFantazio.

The most important prerequisite is to have accepted the side quest "A Dagger, a Ring, and a Rake" from the Pompous Man NPC in Martira. The character should be at least Imagination Level 2, failing which the side quest cannot be accepted. This quest can only be accepted on 6/28, or beyond the date, and completing this quest is also a great way to increase the Courage stat.

The Brawler Archetype is a must for this area, and it can be paired with other supporting Archetypes such as Mage and Healer as per your choice. Make sure to have ample Light attacks handy, as many enemies in this area are susceptible to Light damage. Focus on keeping the Brawler's HP high to ensure seamless battles.
